Palm Beach County
Pool care across Wellington's neighborhoods
This is home base. We run from the villages off Forest Hill Boulevard out to the properties along the equestrian corridors, same weekday every week, keeping the water clear and the deck and cage in decent shape.
“Richie is by far the best pool cleaning and patio guy in Palm Beach county. He does a phenomenal job every week. He's super dependable…”
“Richie has made our pool look better than it has in years! He goes above and beyond what we’ve experienced with most other pool companies…”
What pools here are up against
Wellington pools go from small neighborhood rectangles to estate pools with a waterline that takes a while to get around. What they share is the afternoon storm season, which drops oak leaves and palm fronds in the water faster than any skimmer is going to keep up with.
This page goes neighborhood by neighborhood. For the weekly visit itself, what it covers and what it costs, see pool service in Wellington.
Where we work in Wellington
Wellington is home base. We cover ZIP codes 33414, 33449, 33467, including the area around Wellington Green, the equestrian show grounds and Lake Wellington. Open 24/7: call or text (561) 252 8487 any time.
- Palm Beach Polo. Big lots, old trees and a golf course next door, so leaf load is the weekly fight. Mature oaks drop something nearly every day, and a skimmer basket that is fine on Monday can be packed by Thursday. Pools here tend to be older and larger, which puts more water and more plaster in play.
- Binks Forest. Homes around the golf course, where the cage needs keeping up as much as the water. Shade off the trees and the screen keeps the deck damp longer, and that is where the gray film on the framing starts. A clean pool inside a streaked cage still looks neglected.
- Olympia. Newer homes around the lakes, mostly screened pools on regular sized lots. The screen keeps the leaves out, so the work is mostly chemistry and the filter. Lakeside wind still pushes grit and pollen through the mesh and onto the floor.
- Grand Prix Village and the equestrian estates. Farm properties near the show grounds, with bigger pools, long decks and long driveways. Estate pools hold a lot of water, so the chemistry takes more to move and more to hold. The long pool decks and drives are where pressure cleaning earns its keep.
- Aero Club. The fly in community on the airstrip, with large lots and open sky over the water. Open sky means full sun on the pool most of the day, which burns chlorine off fast in summer. Fewer trees overhead, but the wind across the open lots brings dust and grass clippings in.
- Wellington Green. The neighborhoods around the mall between State Road 7 and Forest Hill Boulevard. Mostly screened pools on tidy lots, close together. Tight side yards make getting the equipment through the gate part of the job.
Weekly pool cleaning in Wellington
One visit a week on the same day, from Richard Ellis, a Certified Pool Operator. The business is licensed and insured and has been running for six years. Every visit:
- Net the surface and vacuum the floor
- Brush the walls, steps and benches
- Empty the skimmer and pump baskets
- Pump spray the waterline tiles
- Full filter clean every week
- Every chemical included in the price
Weekly visits in Wellington start at $140 a month for a small pool and run to $300 or more for a large one, with every chemical included. You get the real number for your pool before anything starts. See what pool service costs or the full weekly pool service.
Other jobs we do in Wellington
Besides the weekly visit, most of the other work in Wellington is one off. A pool that went green after a storm or a few weeks away gets a green pool cleanup. Plaster that stayed gray or stained after the water cleared is a job for an acid wash. The long decks and driveways get pressure cleaning, and the cages get a screen enclosure cleaning.
